I just put this on Elizabeth for the first time since I bought it. This includes: lime-green tafetta one piece dress with mock petticoat and lace on the arms and around the collar, straw hat with pink ribbon and lime green tafetta material like the dress, and white heeled shoes. The dress is a nice tafetta type material, it is very pretty. My only complaint about the dress is the lace around the top doesn't go up to Elizabeth's neck, but I'm not sure if it was intended to or not. The straw hat has beautiful light pink bows on both sides in the middle of the hat. Lime green tafetta is in the middle of the hat in a circle, the pink bows are on either side of the green tafetta. The heeled shoes are cute, but they are pretty hard to keep on Elizabeth's feet. Overall, I give this outfit a B.
I think the shoes were my favorite part of this outfit. I love the detail with the heal. The outfit is absolutly beautiful in design but I'm still not overly thrilled with the color even on Elizabeth. I kept the outfit only because Elizabeth doesn't have a huge selection of clothes here and I do want something different to change her in every so often.
I give the design and make of the dress an A+ The color a C so over all the average would be a B

I wasn't too thrilled about the green color in the catalog but in person it isn't that green. I liked the trading card that came with the dress,it explained the fabric and how only a rich family could have afforded to have it imported from England.
I think your grade of B is fair. While I leave the tea dresses, the color and design of this one doesn't wow me. I'm still glad I got it but I'm wondering if that's the Completist rearing her head. If it was retired tomorrow and I didn't have it, I wouldn't worry.
I absoutly love the outfit inus one thing I love the shows, but I dont know if anyone else is having a hard time with Lizzie standing them. My Lizzie has a hard time standing in them.
