I noticed that poor Kirsten didn't have any posts. It broke my heart! My youngest chose Kirsten as her first AG doll last year. She is absolutely adorable. We have several of her outfits and accessories. DD's favorite outfit is the birthday dress. I love her wool sweater and cap. It looks so cute on her. Now I feel better. There won't be any "0"'s in her posts section.
We love Kirsten so much! Each one of our doll collections represents a part of our family history. Kirsten represents the immigrant portion of our family's heritage. And my best friend is from Swedish ancestors (and looks like Kirsten) so it makes me love my Kirsten dolls even more.
My very favorite outfit on Kirsten is her whole winter outfit, including her flannel underclothes, hat, mittens, sweater--everything! I think it is one of my favorite outfits of the entire American Girls Collection.
I also love Kirsten's retired "On the Trail" dress and her Swedish Dirndl. I think both of these dresses are worth saving up for and buying on ebay.
I just got Kirsten, her trunk, bed, honey pots and some outfits from Tobydoggy (heather). I am so excited. Kirsten has been my ALL TIME favorite doll for years. Living in Canada as a kid I had never heard about AG - so this is my second childhood.
Kirsten's stories are SO endearing. Pioneer kids had a tough live - they worked hard, but they played just as hard when the time came. I love Kirsten's strength and determination.

Trunk - Awesome, it holds a lot. Since I am an adult collector I love that the trunk holds all her pieces, clothes, her bed and her!
Bed - very cute
4th of july set - the best accessory! Worth every penny. It is so cute!
Apron dress - the pink colour looks amazing with her colouring and I love the daisies in her hair!!!
I really love her stories too! I just recently purchased her Story collection and will be purchasing her Short Stories collection in August.
I think out of all the characters, Kirsten is my favorite. She is quiet and kind hearted, loves to explore, obedient and hard-working, and she is also very brave. I always admired Kirsten when I was younger.
