Felicity's Christmas Gown

Felicity's Christmas Gown $28 ECOA

Includes: Taffeta gown, two stomachers one with lace, and one with pink ribbon, pearl necklace, blue satin hair ribbon, and pinner cap

Note: I bought my Felicity's Christmas Outfit before the name was changed to Felicity's Holiday Gown, and before the shoes were included with the outfit. I believe the shoes are the same ones from the Shoes, Stocking, & Garter set, though.

The dress is gorgeous, it has lace around the cuffs, and around the collar. The dress is two pieces, there is a blue taffeta skirt, and a blue taffeta gown (I'm not sure if this is the same as the ones currently made now). The stomachers are pink and lace, they both have lace around the top of them. I personally prefer the lacy stomacher, because it matches the lace on the pinner cap, and around the collar and cuffs on the gown. I think the second stomacher should have been a different color, the pink color does not match the outfit well, and looks almost too bright to be worn with the outfit. The pretend pearl necklace is cute, it's a bit hard to get around Felicity's neck though (that might be because my Felicity is PM and the outfit is Mattel). The hair ribbon is the same color blue as the skirt, gown, and necklace. The pinner cap has doll-sized bobby pins to keep it in Felicity's hair, is trimmed in lace, and has the blue material in a bow at the back of the cap. I give this outfit an A, for design, accuracy, and relative easiness to put on the doll.

I love it too. I got it for Christmas so it has the shoes (and it still has the two stomachers) because I think in January they changed it to a reversable stomacher. Mine didn't come with the bobby pins though, which I don't really like because I have no clue where to find some that are small enough.

Felicity Fan,

You might be able to find doll sized bobby pins at a craft store such as Micheals, or a place such as Saly Beauty Supply might have some, that are baby sized.
When I got this outfit I got the 2 bobby pins with it, but I have lost them, but have found them at craft stores.

I didn't get the shoes with mine, but I got the 2 stomachers and the necklace. I love the necklace, and I love the feel of the dress, however the skirt has always been a tight fit on my Lissie even though she and the outfit are both Pre Mattel. I guess she has had too many Shrewsbury cakes. I also don't remember ever getting a hair ribbon with mine.
