I bought supplies to make a orange crate scooter when Hobby Lobby had all of their unfinished wood on sale for 50% off. They have that sale pretty often.

Thank you! Thank you! I was debating as to ordering the scooter for my DD's upcoming bday. But after seeing this decided to make it ourselves. She LOVES it so much she wants to make another. The only thing that she insisted be changed was to paint her board and handle pink, because that is her favorite color. We had a great time, and saved money. Thanks again! Mari

That is great! I think it is a lot of fun to build too. I know we would all love to see pictures. :) The pink sounds very pretty!

Oh goodness, WOW! It looks almost exactly like the AG one, BUT its real wood and that is so much better! (I read Kit's scooter was plastic, augh!)

The fact that her scooter is disappointing. Still, DS and DD love to play with it. It is quite rugged. Wouldn't it have been cool if they had sent a kit for girls to assemble with Dads to make the scooter?

Gaaaa! Why don't they thnk of these things!
