I purchased Kit's bed only from Ebay and it did not come with the mattress or pillow, so I made one.My review will be of the metal bed it's self.
I am very, very impressed with Kit's beautiful green bed. It is very heavy and sturdy. The bed is a bright, beautiful shade of green. The color is a little brighter than I expected based on the photos I have seen.My Grandma still sleeps on her bed from the late 20's-early 30's that looks almost identical to Kit's,but is a very slightly different green color.
I really love the decals on the headboard and footboard. Though not the same flowers, it reminds me of a green lamp my Grandma has from the 1930's that has a floral design painted on it.So many of Kit's things can be found in my Grandma's house. :)
I love the way the bed can fold out to be large enough for two dolls. It is easy to fold out.I really love everything about this darling little bed.

Yes, it is much brighter green than I had expected too, almost a grasshopper green. Almost the same color as these guys >>> ..maybe a teeny bit darker, but certainly close to that shade of green.
