I use an old book case with adjustable shelves, and tension curtain rods to hang the clothes on. I also use the cardboard box that one outfit comes in from AG to put accessories and slide it under one of the adjustable shelves. On the top shelf I put hats, and little things. I also have a shoe box top to put shoes in and I slide under a shelf. My problem is forgetting which little accessories goes with each outfit.

I don't really have a space for my AG items yet. My dolls are on my bed and the oufits are in AG boxes on a shelf with AG and L.M. Montgomery books. I have to majorly clean my room this summer and get rid of some childhood stuff to make room for my dolls and make my room neater.

You are all too organized. I'm impressed. I have my 3 AG gals just on my bed. I keep their extra clothes in whatever type box I can find. I have Samantha's trunk but it is not nearly big enough for her collection. It is kind of a stupid, trunk if you ask me. Now her stuff is in a plain box, Felicity's stuff I actually keep in a big tin box held a big care package of stuff from Germany but I can lay her clothes nice and flat in it. My AGT stuff is in a little pink case someone gave to me. The furniture is packed away since I don't have anywhere to set it up. Someday I hope to have a place for it all.

We have multiple ways in which we store all out stuff and we still are looking for more storage ideas though. We have Addy and Josefina's trunks. I really like them because they hold a lot. We have large hat boxes for all the historicals and three five drawer plastic carts to hold the today stuff. We have the storage hangers that AG sells, but they don't really work well. The dolls are just displayed all over the house. We also have five large plastic tubs to hold the larger items. We still have tons of stuff still needing a place. If anyone can think of a good way to store Samantha's sleigh I would appreciate it I am thinking about having my husband make two large stand alone wood cupboards with small rods across so we can hang all the historical and today clothing. I get rid of all the boxes except those for some large items because they just take up more space.

Boop, I like your idea of using the bookcase. I wonder if it would be hard to add doors to a bookcase like that so you can hide doll things when they aren't being used and so DH can't see how much there really is Your set-up looks really nice and organized!

LOL! I fully understand where you are coming from. When we were getting all this stuff, it didn't seem so bad, but now I look at it all and wonder where in the world I am going to put all of it. My daughter and I have started to weed out things we either no longer want or we haven't taken out in a while. We finally reached a point where a lot of things aren't being played with because it just takes too long to find where it is. Yes, AG is very addicting! Thanks again for the pictures

Whatca waiting for?? It sounds like we NEED to see these pictures. Really, it sounds like a nice setup. So the question is, do you get a larger space only to fill it up with more AG or keep the space you have and just try to shove more in it?
