Molly's Party Games

I bought this set recently for fear of retirement (AG retired Felicity's and replaced it with a less attractive set) and I wanted to make sure I didn't have to worry about it being gone and not having it. Anyway, I have got to say this is one of my favorite sets AG makes in general, to me it looks like it has the quality of Pleasant Company, not Mattel. This accessory set includes: pin the tail on the Donkey, a doll-sized jump-rope, a pair of red roller skates, a glass "milk" bottle, and 5 clothes pins. This set is $20, the product code is MBAG. This set is really cute, my favorite part of it has got to be the "milk" bottle with the words Pleasantry Farms printed on it. Overall, I would give this an A. I will post pictures of this item over the weekend most likely.

I recently bought the Party Games set too, for the same reason. I wanted to snatch it up before it was too late I would have to agree w/ you, the set was really cute and seemed reminiscent of their older merchandise. In fact, the gold stickers on the bottom of my roller skates were Pleasant Co. ones! Funny, huh? My mom thought they used the named "Pleasantry Farms" as a nod to their former company name. Hmm. . .maybe. Do you think AG will retire any other Molly items?

My roller skates also have Pleasant Company stickers on them, too. I wonder if they all have Pleasant Compant stickers on the roller skates? There's no telling what AG will do, the way they retired some key items from Felicity's collection when the new items were being introduced, it's hard to tell if American Girl will do the same thing again this year.

Here is a picture from my collection

Some of the clothespins were broken when I got this set, but it is very easy to put them back together

Thankyou, I found some small clothes pins at Michaels, and also a small laundry basket at WM. I think Molly's clothes pins are alittle larger than the ones I found, maybe even twice as large. This is such a cute set as soon as it goes on sale I'm ordering it.
