I'm almost certain these are the ones my friend just sold on ebay so I can vouch for the fact that you got a decent Samantha and while she was in my friend's possession, she was only used for modeling purposes. The hair was like that when Holly bought her last year. If it's the same doll--I wrote my friend just out of curiosity! She figured the girl who bought both her Sam and Felicity was going to resell since she jumped on the BIN so quickly. But if I remember right, my friend didn't have her BINs all that much less than what this seller sold for so I'm wondering if she made much at all?

Fourty is a fair price, today I had an offer on my Samantha for $25. I would be willing to sell her for no less than $45. Otherwise she stays. I found $25 insulting for a PM Samantha whos only flaw is a couple of holes in her cloth body.
$25 is way too low for a PM Samantha, perhaps the buyer didn't quite know the value of AG dolls, even the fixer-uppers (not that yours is a fixer-upper, but the one I got is and I wouldn't have ever offered $25.
I did win a white-body Sam a few months ago for under $30. I have since customized her and she has a tan body, new wig and blonde hi-lights, but I was pleased to find her so cheap. With this doll I am basically going to be re-wigging to make him look more "masculine."
I figure with the money I save on a fixer-upper doll I spend it on new wigs and fabric for clothes.
I will let you all know how it goes.
Tari, find out if it was your friend's doll that I purchased. That would be a nice coincedence.
I am hoping to get a Molly fix it upper so that I can make her my Anne of Green Gables I am bidding on one now that is currently under $40 and she has chopped hair so I won't feel bad removing her wig

I feel the same way about rewigging. I love to do it but I would never rewig a doll whose hair was in good condition. Congratulations, Jennifer! I hope your BF loves his twin!
