This set included Kit's porcelain-top waffle iron,a milk-glass platter, two waffles with a little dollop whipped cream to go on top,two artificial evergreen swags and some recipe cards.
What can I say? Cute, cute , cute!! I love this set. There is nothing I do not like about this set.
The waffle iron is so nice and heavy. It is metal and porcelain with little wooden handles.It even has an electrical cord with an itty bitty plug on the end! I love the picture on top too.It just looks so real.Very nice! I can see lots of play value in this piece too.
The milk glass plate is very pretty, but it does seem quite delicate. It is also completely flat, not shaped like most real plates.
The little waffles fit right inside the waffle iron, too cute!
The recipe cards have some neat little recipes for waffles on them, including the "Kittridge Family Waffles".
The evergreen swags are a nice touch.
This is really a terrific, very well made little set. A+

I just bought this set and I completely agree that it is an A+
The cord is made to resemble the old style silk wrapped cords and can be detached from the waffle iron. The waffle iron is very solid. The green handles on the waffle iron are painted wood and seem very realistic.
