This set includes Kit’s crocheted cloche hat, straw purse printed hankie, reproduction buffalo nickel and compass necklace. Grade A+ I love this set and consider it an absolute must have. The items were not dominate in her stories, but even so, they make lovely additions to Kit's meet outfit. The little hat is just darling! I love the shade of green used for the ribbon. It is a beautiful yellow-green that always makes me think of Spring time. The hat looks very sweet on Kit's head, especially with her short hair. (I will add pictures of this later.) The straw purse is really very pretty and nicely detailed. The printed hankie is plain, but cute. The compass necklace looks terrific with Kit's meet outfit. The Buffalo Nickle seems too large to me, and I do not like that it has the word "COPY" stamped on one side.It is still pretty cute. A+ The photo below was taken with the item on paper with a 1" grid printed on it for size reference. Each square = 1".
I really like this set. It's very cute, I got it with Kit when my mom bought her for me for my birthday in 2001. I love, love, LOVE the compass necklace. It is absolutely adorable, and I say if you don't want to buy the whole set (which I think you should...), at least go for the compass necklace replacement part (I'm sorry, I don't know the code, but I know that it's $5 and is available)! Sadly, I lost the necklace a few years ago after taking it off of Kit for the first time . The purse, hankie, and coin are really cute, although, like American_Mommy, I don't really like the "COPY" stamped on one side of the coin. The purse is very cute and detailed, and I like the hankie's purple border . The cloche hat is quite cute, although the way it is knit, with the one part going up a little on one side (if that makes any sense) annoys me a bit. It confuses me when I put the hat on, but overall, it's adorable. I reccomend Kit's accessories to anyone with Kit, or who is planning on getting her.
